Values and Ethos

We are a family community at Stanbridge. Our children learn through high quality teaching. Our curriculum is wide, broad and engaging and creative and allows children to develop as citizens and become lifelong learners.

 

Teachers and children enjoy coming to school and we place a high emphasis on children’s well-being both physical and mental and this is reflected in the provision we offer and throughout all aspects of daily life.

We learn together to make a positive difference and allow children to become confident and independent learners. We consider carefully all children’s needs to allow them to learn and do well at school.

    Children at Stanbridge will thrive as part of an inclusive environment that establishes their love of learning for life.  Through our effective teaching, informative assessment and high expectations of pupils and staff alike, we will ensure that every child achieves well, whatever their starting point.  Our exciting and challenging curriculum and supportive school community will nurture and celebrate the talents of every child in both academic and creative endeavours, whilst promoting the development of confidence and resilience through encouraging children to “BE BRAVE NOT PERFECT” as we prepare them for the next stage of their journey.
