At Stanbridge Primary School we are committed to working in partnership with our parents/carers. We are always keen to receive feedback (OWLS) about school developments and enjoy meeting with parents at our termly Parents in Partnership meetings and at a weekly coffee morning.
The school is well supported by an active PTA called, Friends of Stanbridge. This dedicated group of parents/carers and staff work together to raise funds for the school. Our most recent fundraising project is for our new school library. The PTA have a site specific page which can be found here.

In the last 10 years Parent Participation Groups and Parent Carer Forums have come into existence across England forming a national network of parent-led organisations which are helping to shape the future of services available for children with disabilities or special educational needs.
South Glos Parents & Carers is the parent participation group for South Gloucestershire.
We are a parent led group and have children with a disability or additional needs, ranging from physical, social communication, sensory, learning or behavioral difficulties and anxiety to complex health needs.
Through this experience we’re able to give an invaluable perspective in identifying possible improvements to the services that are available – and as such, service providers want to listen.
South Glos Parents and Carers is supported by The Carers Centre (Bristol & Gloucestershire) and Supportive Parents for Special Children. We work in partnership with them, South Gloucestershire Council and NHS South Gloucestershire.
We work with parents the Local Authority and NHS South Gloucestershire to ensure services provided for children with disability or additional needs are suitable, required and appropriate.
